Vice President Finance
Downtown Toronto, ON – 2-3 days per week in the office

This position will be the number one in this professional services company with a strong accounting/finance team underneath. The main responsibilities include overseeing all financial operations globally, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, developing financial strategies for corporate growth, managing budgeting and forecasting processes, and leading a small finance team.
Key responsibilities:
- Financial strategy and leadership, including providing insights and recommendations to improve profitability.
- Budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, with a responsibility to present to the board of directors.
- Risk management, cash flow management, and ensuring proper financial controls.
- Managing project accounting and ensuring accurate financial tracking.
- Leadership and team development, ensuring the finance team’s success and growth.
- Building strong relationships with external parties such as banks, external accounting firms, and insurance providers.
Requirements:
- A CPA designation and a degree.
- 10+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in professional services, preferably in the design or architecture sector.
- IFRS and experience working in a multi-currency environment.
- Expertise in financial planning, analysis, and risk management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
