Analyst – Investments and Finance
Located In Mid-Toronto – 4 Days/Week In Office
Salary Between $80k – $100k Plus Discretionary Bonus & Benefits
Our client, a real estate firm, is looking for an Investment Analyst to join their dynamic team and support with financial analysis, portfolio management and investor reporting across multiple asset classes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Analysis & Decision Support: Assist through financial modeling, market research, and analysis to support decision-making in existing projects, corporate strategies, and new initiatives.
- Portfolio Monitoring: Play a pivotal role in monitoring and analyzing portfolio and market trends to support investment strategies, risk assessment, and portfolio management.
- Investor Reporting & Correspondence: Coordinate information across various divisions
- Group to develop, prepare, and distribute detailed reporting packages and investment materials for our equity partners.
- Project Financing: Prepare, collect, and distribute due diligence materials for lenders.
- Ad-Hoc Analytical Support: Provide analytical support across business units and special projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
- CFA, CPA, or other similar designations are considered an asset.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience in real estate, investment banking, private equity, or
- management consulting.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, particularly in building flexible, robust and user-friendly financial models; coding knowledge or experience is a plus.
- Strong business, financial acumen and an owner’s mindset.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
